Weekend shoots: 2 days, 2 dams.

After a memorable Devghar Moonwalk I was game for more more weekend shoots at a cost of waking up very early morning.
Saturday plans were decided for moon point of Panshet again with Deep and Umesh. The usual drive to Panshet and stopping at our regular moon-point in the grass. This place has always shown us few of the world's beautiful sunrises. The company of these two guys and Mr. Shrirang Khandekar followed by the Bun-Omelet at Sinhagad base made my Saturday. Umesh showed us the demo of using available skills to get right kind of angle by holding fully extended tripod pegs in one hand and clicking with shutter release cable in the other
hand. Also the comparison shoot between Sigma 10-20mm and Canon EF-S 10-22 ultra-wide angles with the Umesh's car as a test model was a fun. The breakfast break, too provided us an opportunity for few portraits.
While bidding a goodbye we decided for the Sunday's Veer Dam shoot. Phones rang and we extracted the route info from Dhruv. To my surprise Soumitra joined in and it came to my knowledge it when Deep came to my home to head to Veer via Saswad. The ride through chilling cold Diveghat and Saswad with the watered sugar cane fields past Saswad made all our senses numb. The dam site was good enough but not the sunrise, considering our moon point sunrise of Panshet. Few birds (parakeets, bulbuls, ducks, bee eaters, kingfishers, raptors) made their appearance in front of us. Return journey through the sun-kissed mountains in the warm atmosphere. Few wide angle shot of an abandoned truck, Dolly, and then the trip was finale'ed with the hot Vada-Paavs and steaming hot tea at Asmita Vadewale in Saswad.
