It was a long time when I had a taken a long break from my routine office chores. And also leaves were pending and about to lapse. I decided to go on Southern trip to Bangalore, as my soul mate lives in Bangalore and he had already done a survey of good spots there. So I don't have to hunt websites and other references for the places. Just need to plan my trip, find companions and start the journey. But none of the partners accompanied and I started my journey alone. It was Good Morning Banagalore, when I landed there on Sunday. A rest day after a delicious Hyderabad Biryani. Meanwhile I was searching for the conducted tours, so that I didn't have to worry about my travel. ound a trip of KSRTC website, booked it and went to see the Bangalore city (VidhanSoudha and Brigade Road area). But on the way I received a call from KSRTC saying that trip is canceled. After a VidhanSoudha photoshoot at night I was tensed about my overall trip plans.

Next day, finally I got a packaged trip of the Mysore-Ooty-Coonnoor from Bangalore and finally boarded upon a bus. Mysore Palace, Chamundeshwari, Vrindavan garden were the places of interest before the day end of first day.

Day 2 was trip to Ooty, the highest spot in Nilgiri mountain ranges. The road to Nilgiri was a picturesque journey through the Bandipur and Mudumalai forests. The deers were happily walking on the highways and I could capture a few. Reaching Ooty, sight seeing at Ooty lake, garden was just similar to monotonous routine tourist. I decided to do some adventure and get some good shots. After freshening up in a hotel I looked in a watch, It was almost 6:15 and within 15 mins there was a sunset. To get a vantage point for the sunset shoot I had to trek uphill somewhere. It was really a race against time. Finally managed to reach on top of some hillock and managed to get a beautiful sunset over the Nilgiri trees with the tea gardens at the bottom. Ooty was chilling place at night. I couldn't even walk in the bathroom without shoes.

Day 3 was trip to Coonoor, Tea garden, Madras Regimental Center and some valley point (forgot the name), followed by the Coonnoor to Ooty toy train journey encircling the blue mountains and tea gardens in the mist and finally the Dodabetta peak.

Returned Bangalore at next morning and quickly rode the bike to Nandi Hills. This place was not up to the mark (or I didn't had much time to explore in a limited time) whatever I have heard. After that took a rest for whole day and boarded on a train journey back to Pune.
