Bhuleshwar : A hidden treasure.
Away from the city hassles, on Pune-Solapur highway take a right turn form village Yawat, keeping an eye on a hill on right side with a temple and telecommunication tower seen from the distance. Reach from the ghat road. Park the car on plateau in front of the temple. We spotted 4/5 owls on the tree there. Enter the temple and you will have a treasure waiting for you.
The ultimate sculptures (though few are destroyed by the invaders) waiting for you. And yes all flashes, tripods are allowed inside. Priests are helpful too. Anytime light is good.
It is believed that it was here that Devi Parvati danced for Lord Shiva, and attracted him towards her (Bhul) and thereafter, both of them went to Kailash and got married.
I had to go there twice on back to back weekends to see and shoot each aspect of this temple.
