Epilogue 2008

It's not the thing like after Pandavgad we didn't have any treks. We had awesome Coastal Prowl on the bikes. 12 people, 6 bikes, 750+ kms, unlimited spirits and we made the this trip a grand success. To add more spice it was all time fried fish and curry trip for me (Do not envy boss).
After this trip few trips to Bhigwan for great flamingos shoot, Kavadi for birding and photo shoot, Jivdhan-Naneghat, and the great Harishchandragad overnight trek were the highlights of the season, taking my fort count beyond 35. Few pilgrimages like Morgaon, Jejuri did happen too (yes I believe in "He").
Also this year will be rembered for my entry in the SLR camera world, consecutively upgrading to through the models. And to add more interest couple of my snaps got selected to feature in the Photographers@Pune's exhibition and one made an enough impression to be amongst the winners. Hoping to get some money outta it for the new lens :-).
Next year plans are for the rest of Konkan Coastal prowl, another dozen of forts and spontaneous photo shoots around Pune. Also a bigger lens is on the cards.
Photographers@Pune exhibition was a great opportunity for me to have a vis-a-vis with few masters and new friends too. Swati, Rohit, Soumita, Suhas, Amit, Chaitanya, Deepak, Chaitrali are few of them to name. We really lived the exhibition with these guys.
Now I am getting short of words, so henceforth the blog will be more of a photo blog with short trip description instead of a lengthy one as it was used to be.
Good Bye 2008.
